Book Review: The Missing Sister by Elle Marr

I got this book as one of my free choices each month with Amazon. I’m really glad that I chose this book. It’s very well written and a fabulous story. I loved the characters and although there were a couple of bits where I thought it went a bit over the top, by that time I didn’t mind, it had been a great ride. I just couldn’t put the book down.

I was reading the book in March 2020 and I was due to travel to Paris to give a seminar, do some research and have a holiday at the start of April. I’d never come across the catacombs before reading this book, but after checking it was a real place, I planned to do a bit of contents tourism and visit where some of the book is set. Unfortunately the trip was called off due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hopefully I will get a chance to go to Paris at another time, and before I do, I will be reading “The Missing Sister” again and then visiting the catacombs.

For more information about the book see this page or click here to get more information about the book on Amazon.

[UPDATE 22/6/2022: I have now visited the Paris Catacombs – see Reflecting on a Research Trip to Paris: The Paris Catacombs]
