Photographing the Shinkansen: Tokuyama Station

I have previously written a post about taking photographs near Fukuyama and Tokuyama stations, but Tokuyama station itself is one of my favourite stations to get out and get some shinkansen photographs.

The key thing about Tokuyama station from a photography point of view is that it is on a bend, allowing you to get some interesting, and relatively unusual shots. As well as shots of passing trains (as well as Kodama services some Hikari services will let faster trains through here), you can also get some nice shots along the platform itself.
